The national flag of Nepal (Nepali: नेपालको झण्डा) is the world's only non-quadrilateral flag. It's distinctive celestial bodies of the Chandra (Moon) and Surya (Sun) have been an inspiration and part of our collection from the start. 
 

The Chandra represents calmness and compassion, hence is believed to be placed above the Suyra to balance the fiery nature of the sun. 

The flag’s crimson red is the symbol of bravery and it also represents the color of the rhododendron, Nepal's national flower, while the blue border is the color of peace.

An ode to being away from home, longing to be home, yet feeling completely lost when home. I lived almost half my life away from home. So, when I decided to return home, I felt like a complete stranger in my own city. I loved it, I had longed for it and though it took me a while, I didn't want to leave once I caught the rhythm of the city. 

The 'Chandra Surya Collection' is a simple narration of being a Nepali, whether you are home or away. The moon and the sun in our flag is unmistakable and for those away might evoke memories and others it might just define solidarity. Either way it’s perfect as gifts or for yourself.
