The national flag of Nepal (Nepali: नेपालको झण्डा) is the world's only non-quadrilateral flag. It's distinctive celestial bodies of the Chandra (Moon) and Surya (Sun) have been an inspiration and part of our collection from the start. 

 

The Chandra represents calmness and compassion, hence is believed to be placed above the Suyra to balance the fiery nature of the sun. 

 

The flag’s crimson red is the symbol of bravery and it also represents the color of the rhododendron, Nepal's national flower, while the blue border is the color of peace.

So, when I decided to return home, I felt like a complete stranger in my own city. I loved it, I had longed for it and though it took me a while, I didn't want to leave once I caught the rhythm of the city.
